HAPPY NEW YEAR 01/01/2011
 
This is a NEW YEAR and God wants us to take the church into real WORSHIP! Are you ready for that? As minstrels, we are ordained and anointed by God to take the church to another level in worship. Of course, we as minstrels must LIVE the life also, because worship is a lifestyle. In order to help take your church into another realm in worship, you yourself must have a relationship with Jesus Christ. In other words, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and seek after him. Chase after the heart of God! That's what David did, he was after Gods' heart; meaning he sought after the heart of God! David is a songwriter, praise & worship leader, musician, and King of Israel. Ask yourself: "What did David do? How did he do it? Why did God describe David as “a man after my heart"? We as musicians should and need to really SEEK God in everything we do. We have a great responsibility, so we need to be the FIRST to get on our faces before the Father and ask for supernatural strength to complete the mission that’s put before us! Look at the anointing that flowed through David. When he played, the tormenting spirits that were on Saul left because of the music! There wasn't a word spoken, prayer, etc. just MUSIC! Now that's powerful. I'd like to believe that the anointing of God on David made this possible! We as minstrels can have that same anointing, if seek to please God, because He is not a respector of persons.

Amen! Worship is more than the songs we sing, it's a lifestyle of holiness.
